Philadelphia: Global Run Culture & Storytelling Event - Thursday, June 13

Like The Wind is a quarterly print magazine dedicated to exploring the culture, history and social issues endemic to the world of running. Pages filled with a diverse collection of stories about running, interwoven with stunning photography and illustrations, the first issue released to the world 10 years ago.

Every edition of the magazine contains words and images that connect you to their mission to inspire a global community of like–minded runners who believe in the power of putting one foot in front of the other. A decade later and the magazine is still committed to telling stories that explore running culture around the world. To celebrate the milestones of 10 years AND 40 editions of the magazine, Like the Wind is touring Canada and the United States.

They've teamed up with Philadelphia Runner and our friends at Diadora to host an evening of global run culture, storytelling and connecting with fellow runners. Please join us for some short stories from special guests, drinks, music, and great vibes!

Please note: this is a free event and open to everyone, registration is encouraged!

    Tentative schedule:

6pm: Optional run* at Philadelphia Runner City Center, 1711 Walnut Street, to Bok Building, 1901 South 9th Street (approx. 2.5 miles).

6:45pm: Storytelling at Diadora North America Headquarters (inside the Bok Building), including drinks provided by Diadora.

8pm: Event ends. You can head home or check out the scene (and view) upstairs at Bok Bar. It's one of the best views in the city!

    * If you are not attending the run, you can still join the storytelling fun at Diadora HQ. Meet us at the Bok Building. *

    See you there!
